WebMar 1, 2024 · Phosphorus (P) is essential for plant development and metabolism and plants preferentially absorb and utilize P as inorganic phosphate (Pi). Land plants have evolved intricate mechanisms to acquire Pi and maintain cellular Pi homeostasis. WebWe have developed phosphate permease gene sequence-based PCR detection system of Fusarium cerealis phytopathogenic fungus. Sequencing and analysis revealed that the gene displayed unique polymorphism and could serve to establish phylogenetic relations as well as a marker to design specific primers.
